Great Queen Street Urban Improvement scheme.
Christian Garnett Partners LLP have been appointed by London Borough of Camden to develop feasibility proposals for a new urban space at the junction of Great Queen Street/ Drury Lane and Long Acre.
The practice will initiality prepare a feasibility report to explore options for enhancements and Improvements to external finishes, lighting, planting etc. The aim of the project will to create a new urban focal point strengthening the identity of the space which is currently set aside for traffic and parking.
The project will be developed from the Practice's early pilot scheme for the location, and the report will be used as a consultation document for discussion with local resident and business groups, with a view to developing a detailed urban design scheme in 2007.
