November 2007 Practice wins limited competition for mixed use redevelopment WC1 A limited competition run by The Bedford Estates for redevelopment of the former Bloomsbury Petrol Station site in Store Street WC1, has been won by Christian Garnett Partners. The 1,000sqm scheme will re-instate the lost south-western corner of the historic urban block. A new restaurant and semi-public external eating area will help regenerate retail activity along the eastern end of Store Street. The scheme includes two office floors along Ridgmount Street and restoration of a Grade II Listed Ballroom as a spectacular self contained office unit to the rear. close window
